Vision and Mission
Over a period of three years (until November 2027), the adaptation of mainstream AI frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Triton, Paddlepaddle, on mass-production AI acceleration cards/modules/IP (including training and inference, cloud-side and edge-side) based on the AI extension of the RISC-V instruction set.
Goals
- Functional Goals:
- Support 10 mass-produced AI acceleration cards or IP based on the AI extension of the RISC-V instruction set.
- Support mainstream AI frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Triton, Paddlepaddle.
- Performance Goals:
- The coverage rate reaches 50% of the Chinese domestic AI computing ability with the AI accelerator on the AI extension of the RISC-V instruction set.
- The utilization rate of AI computing ability reaches 60% of the theoretical upper limit of the computing ability.
- Community Activity Goals
- Build an AI software stack developer community with more than 100 core developers and more than 5,000 contributors
Support System
- Jiachen Project (RISC-V Prosperity 2036): “RISC-V Prosperity 2036” Plan will provide more than 5,000 interns and volunteers with the open source intern joint recruitment and training system, and establish AI “computing farm” based on the AI extension of the RISC-V ISA.
